Jobs
As any project we need people who want to get their hands even dirtier. Are you someone who believes in in the Mobile Revolution? Are you someone who just wants freaking timetables on this smartphone?
Either way, we can use you!
- When you got a problem, do you sometimes say: "Hey, I can fix this with JavaScript?" - We might just need you! Our mobile webclient tries to embrace latest html5 standards, will use jsonp as a way to get data from our API.
- You have a nose for graphical artwork and you want a lot of daily users to enjoy your talent? Maybe your future company's headhunters will discover you here. We want to do special artwork for special days. For instance the header of iRail.be will have to change when on that day someone is on strike, or when it's a holiday, or when students are taking stuffed trains the Sunday evening. (Think google-logo but different).
- You like PHP? Where have you been so long!? We really need a lot of help on this part. The API needs to be extended with countries and different kind of vehicles. If you are someone from a currently-not-supported-by-iRail company or country, please countact us asap on the mailing list and we will try to work together as good as possible! If you are someone who just wants to help out on the API code you're also very welcome!
- You got a tattoo that says: "Given enough eyeballs, all bugs are shallow."? You've bought sunglasses only to revise code? On the top of this page, 4th from left, there is a button called "Browse Source". Use it. You can report bugs by using the next button. A valid bugreport will be rewarded with a beer or mate on one of our events.
- You are interested into developing client applications? Be sure to check our BeTrains page!
If interested, please contact Yeri Tiete (yeri aŧ iRail.be) or Pieter Colpaert (pieter aŧ iRail.be) for more information.
